Freeze-dried celery is produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product at very low temperatures and using a vacuum. During packaging, only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product. The weight of the final product is thereby reduced by more than 90 percent, while the volume remains the same. This remarkable process focuses on the fresh taste of celery, its natural color and texture. The jars where the fruits are bottled are made of recycled plastic. In addition, all jars have an additional freshness membrane under the lid, which always keeps the products dry and vacuum. This means that all our products remain as fresh and delicious as possible. After opening the jars, they can be resealed with an airtight lid.
When rehydrated, the pieces reabsorb the liquid and resemble fresh celery again. The taste is excellent and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze drying ensures long-term storage of natural and unadulterated vegetables. Freeze-dried celery is an ideal product for long-term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf life – Freeze-dried celery can be stored in ideal storage conditions (in a cool and dry place) for 10-15 years in a sealed jar.
Instructions for use – Add 1 part celery to 3 parts water. Allow the freeze-dried celery to soak for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated.
